CodersCode engagement with HM Revenue & Customs involved consulting on the development of the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS). As a European wide system based upon electronic declaration and processing, the application was developed to provide a paperless and accessible system for the management of Community Transfer (CT). It involves all EU Member States and the EFTA countries, 29 countries in all.
CodersCode created a solution which interfaced with the HMRC Security Application to connect to the Government Gateway for User Authentication & Authorisation – the first time anything like this had been done. We also developed a custom support office solution to track message status and response times so that our clients could easily analyse their system’s effectiveness and audit easily. And for the ultimate in integration, we implemented a support/test capability for third party developers.
